Welcome to DetoxTap. By using our app and purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

DetoxTap provides a mobile application and physical NFC card that work together to help users manage their screen time by blocking access to selected apps until the user scans their personal NFC card.

2. Account Registration

To use DetoxTap, you must create an account using Sign In with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. NFC Card Purchase

When you purchase a DetoxTap NFC card:

• The price is $19.99 USD including free worldwide shipping
• Each card has a unique ID that is linked to your account
• Cards are non-transferable to other accounts
• Lost cards can be replaced by purchasing a new card

4. Shipping

We ship from Norway to most countries worldwide. Delivery times vary by location:

• Europe: 3-7 business days
• North America: 5-12 business days
• Other regions: 7-14 business days

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or local postal services.

5. Refunds

Due to the personalized nature of our NFC cards (each is linked to a specific user account), we generally cannot offer refunds after the card has been shipped. However:

• If your card arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it free of charge
• If your card is lost in transit, we will ship a replacement
• Refund requests made before shipping will be honored in full

6. App Usage

The DetoxTap app uses Apple's Screen Time API to block apps. By using the app, you:

• Grant the app permission to use Family Controls
• Understand that the app can block access to selected applications
• Acknowledge that the app requires your physical NFC card to unlock blocked apps

7. Limitations

DetoxTap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The app will work with all devices or iOS versions
• The app will successfully reduce your screen time (results depend on user behavior)

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DetoxTap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oslo, Norway.
